Very interesting collection of veggie recipes.

Another good site for general cooking information and recipes. I've had mixed results with the recipes.

Great place to learn basic cooking methods, recipes and equipment reviews. I would say they get a 8/10 for most non-Asian recipes, 9/10 for reviews and 8/10 for learning materials.

Once I get some time I'll update this section with better notes. To date I've made around 20 different flavors and almost all have been great. It is fun, easy and a great way to liven up a dinner party.

We made it to the airport hotel - there is only one hotel in Panama that is close to the international airport - kind of surprising or the others are so well hidden that no one knows about them (not really the best PR plan).

Our escape from the Gamboa resort was well timed. The ratio of small, loud beings was increasing at an exponential rate. As I watched them run around the grounds wielding sticks, umbrellas and the likes - I could not help but think of "the lord of the flies".

I give the resort an a+ for view and hammock. A c- for service and an f for food.

It is near dusk and the staff were occupied with the herding and feeding of the geriactric masses of sweaty flesh so the Dr and I made a break for it. The jumped a rail, scurried up a drainage ditch then acted casual once we hit the main road. Darkness falls quickly in the jungle. We found the hidden laboratories - orchid farming, reptile house, fish and croc house - all locked up and safe. It was then that the Dr noticed a path leading off into the pitch black jungle. Fearlessly we tromped into the black, insect infested unknown.

We made our escape today and not a moment too soon. One more meal at that resort and I would have started hunting the local fauna and roasting them on my balcony. To say the food as bad would be an understatment. I mean how can you fuck up bacon! If don't see another buffet the rest of my life it will still be too soon. If I did not know better I would have thought the food was some evil diet plan to help out all the pasty white land whales rumbling around the place.

We've spent ourselves exploring the depths of Pamama City - from fancy hotels and martini bars to the old rundown stalls of the nearly forgotten old China Town. The Dr. Has agree to spend a few days at Gamboa resort so that we might recover our strength. It is the least he could do after dragging me on a death march through the city in the rain on some wayward quest of his.

The place is a large resort near the middle of the Camal. Isolted, surrounded by jungle - who knows what evils might lurk here.
